Admission to the University
Courses:
The First Degree program starts with one year General Arts Qualifying Programme and the General Degree can be completed within two years and the Special Degree can be completed within three years.
Special Degree Exam in Arts
Consists of three parts namely Degree I, II and III. Each part consists of 4 papers of 3 hour duration on Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Culture, Archaeology, Pali Language and Literature and Sanskrit Language and Literature. One of the Following subjects can be selected for the Special Degree Examination in Arts. They are Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Culture, Archaeology, Pali Language and Literature and Sanskrit Language and Literature.
