Welcome to the “Undergraduate Conference on Buddhism and Sustainable Development” organized by the Department of Buddhist Culture representing the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka. This national academic event is to be held with the blessings of the Most Venerable Vice Chancellor, Ven. Senior Prof. Gallelle Sumanasiri Thero, and under the guidance of Prof. Samantha Ilangakoon, the Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies of Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka. The event is organized by the lecturers of the department of Buddhist Culture under the leadership of Ven. Senior lecturer. Aluthgama Wimalarathana, the Head of the department of Buddhist Culture.
This conference is for undergraduates of Sri Lankan universities and higher educational institutes whether local or foreign, who are interested in presenting research and review papers in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences. The conference topic areas specially focus on disciplines such as Philosophy, Religious Studies, Archaeology, Language Studies, Education, Agriculture, Management, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, etc.
Note : Participants are compulsory to bring the university identity card to convince their studentship as an undergraduate.
